Lloyd Craftsmen was incorporated in March of 2007.  After honing his skills for nine years as a manager and vice president for two of Tampa’s most recognized custom home builders, Jim Lloyd decided to put his knowledge and resources to use by creating a company focused on craftsmanship and service.

We are a small organization by design, so we can provide more personalized service.  Our name reflects the quality of work produced by our employees and subcontractors, a combined effort of a large group of craftsmen who have been practicing their trade for many years.  Lloyd Craftsmen employs only the most knowledgeable subcontractors in the area who can adapt to any environment and understand the intricacies of working with contractors, clients and other subs.

When you call, we listen.  One common theme you will hear from everyone on our reference list is that our communication is second to none.  If your call is not taken immediately, it is returned as soon as possible, and emails are promptly responded to.  You will obtain a comfort level with us from the first meeting that will continue to grow as the project progresses.

Upon acceptance of a contract, we will get to work as soon as all the necessary documentation and permitting is in place.  Once a project is started, the workforce will be on the job every day until the project is completed.  On remodeling projects, we will attempt to limit the disruption that our work causes – we understand that we are coming into your home and your lives.  The jobsite will be cleaned up on a daily basis and all trash will either be placed in a receptacle or hauled away.  Upon completion you will be amazed at how your addition or remodel looks like it has always been there.
